SAISON 2012: KIEFER, KALEX, MAX76
Max will join the Kiefer-Racing world champion team for the next season and start again in the Moto2 Championship. After some very positive talks the one-year contract was signed last Thursday. This offers the opportunity for Max to show his skills under professional conditions.
Max: "I'm really looking forward to working with Kiefer. They have shown this year that one can achieve big things despite limited resources. I feel I am in good hands, also concerning the personal aspect which plays a major role for me. For now it is my goal to achieve the top ten constantly next year and put a few highlights. But I would also not be angry if it would be even better. If it was up to me it could start right away. Due to the testing ban, which consists in the Moto2 class over the winter, this is not possible. We will ride the first meters on the Kalex during private tests at the beginning of February and then be there at the IRTA tests. So I'll use the winter break to prepare myself optimally for the new season. I will also visit my sponsors and suppliers and try to win a few more.
Very big thanks go to my crew chief Marco Nicotari who has always believed in me and has given me confidence in my abilities as a rider. I thank Martin Wimmer for the opportunity to present myself in the Moto2 World Championship in 2011. I wish MZ with all my heart that in the near future things will get better again. Ciao!"
