Magny Cours:Difficult year comes to an end

Actually Max wanted a conciliatory final race on his Honda CBR 1000RR for the end of the season in French Magny Cours. With places thirteen and twelve he was anything but happy. As most of the time during the season, he and his Ten Kate team struggled with the setup of the Honda.

Max: "Also the last race for Ten Kate should not bring any breakthrough. Like many times this year we have not found a good setup for me. Either I had a lot of grip but no handling or vice versa. It was a very difficult season for me and frankly I'm happy it is over. I never really felt comfortable on the bike except for Silverstone and Brno. Nevertheless, the relationship with the team was always intact and friendly. Thanks to Ten Kate and Honda who always believed in me despite all the problems. I am now looking for a new challenge that allows me to show my true potential. Currently there are some very interesting projects in the pipeline but at the moment there is nothing concrete to be said yet. I want to say thanks to all my sponsors and fans that stood behind me despite the disappointing year."
