Max catched some energy and sunshine in Misano
Last weekend Max visited his Suzuki-Alstare-Team at the race in Misano. Shortly after arriving on Thursday afternoon the first PR appointments were already on the schedule. Max attended the official riders’ presentation together with his team mate Yukio Kagayama who is also injured on the foot.
After that he went to the Romania-Beach of Frankie Chili and enjoyed the last sunrays. The following days Max watched his actual rivals out from the emergency lane. But also besides the track it did not get boring. During a visit in the Clinica mobile the Italian doctors wanted to pull out the wires from the foot of Max on the spot and gave up their plan only after a longer crosstalk. On Sunday Max went back to Germany directly after the second race due to his rehabilitation schedule on Monday.
Max: „The visit in Misano was very important for me. My Alstare-Team as well as the Suzuki-Engineers are working at full speed to make my bike faster. They also hinted that I possibly can test a MotoGP bike for them at the end of the season. The atmosphere in the team is great! Everybody was happy to see me and they hope that I will be back soon of course. This is giving me more motivation for being back soon fit and healthy.
It was a complete new experience for me to watch my colleagues at work. Kuba and Johnny are getting faster and faster. They are both really cool guys, also aside the track. It’s too bad that we could not make a party with Johnny on Sunday, because I had to go back directly. But he wants to come to the MotoGp at the Sachsenring, so there will be certainly some time to catch this up.
Apropos Sachsenring: I would have liked to come to the IDM at the Sachsenring but this was not possible due to my timetable. I’m always keeping an eye on that. The Saxons Sascha Hommel and Arne Tode are a factor front and center in the Supersport and Superbike at the moment. Also Ben Gädke is showing good results. I will be definitely at the MotoGP race at the Sachsenring. There will be some autograph sessions as well as some other activities and of course my merchandise shop. But we will refer to that later….”

It was fantastic to meet you
It was fantastic to meet you at Misano Max. Also to collect the helmet of yours which I won in the charity auction run recently, from you in person and for you to sign it for me just made a wonderful weekend perfect. You are a true gentleman and a fine ambassaor for the sport. Get well soon Max and I hope we can meet again soon.
